Biography

Source 1: Dudly was born in 1800. Dudly was the child of Unknown Worden. Dudly passed away in 1880.

Hudson Township, Lenawee, Michigan, United States.

During the latter part of May, 1834, Robert Worden, Dudley Worden and Samuel Day arrived at the Creek. The two Wordens started from Fairport, Monroe county, New York, in a covered wagon, about the first of April 1834. The party consistted of Dudley Worden, wife and one child, and Robert Worden, wife and one child. On the way they fell in company with the family of Mr. Samuel Day, traveling in the same way and intending to settle in Ohio. The two parties traveled along together, and after a while Mr. Day concluded to come to Michigan with the Wordens. They arrived at the Creek, as before stated, in the latter part of May. Their lands were entered at the land office on the 29th day of the month.
