Source 3: Dorsey Worden, 63, prominent farmer and stockman at Superior, died Wednesday afternoon in Brodstone hospital (sic) there, where he was taken 12 days ago following a sudden illness.

Mr. Worden was born on a farm northwest of Superior and had been a resident of this county all his life. He had lived on his present farm 4 1/2 miles east of Superior for 44 years.

He was the first in this section of the state to successfully irrigate from the Republican river (sic), more than 20 years ago, and at the time of his death was a director and vice president of the Bostwick Irrigation District in Nebraska.

Surviving are his wife, Erma; a daughter, Mrs. Vic Scherzinger of Nelson; a son, Louis, at home; one brother, Frank Worden of Superior; and two sisters, Mrs. Loren Bishop of Lufkin, Tex., and Miss Crystal Worden of Hastings.
