Biography

John James was born in 1821. He was the son of Robert Patton Workman and Elizabeth McClelland.

He married first Elizabeth Strait and the had a son: Robert Nelson Workman (1852-1917). Elizabeth passed away in 1855.

John married second Rebecca Lee. Their children included:

Pinkney A. Workman 1860–1934
Napoleon Boneparte Workman 1865–1934
John James Workman 1870–1943
Edward M. Workman 1873–1956
Roberson Workman 1875-1893
Annie M. Workman (Seagle) 1879-1959

In U.S. federal census records he reported his occupation: Farmer

John passed away in 1896 and was buried at Laurelwood Cemetery, Rock Hill, South Carolina.[1]

Workman-3333 and Workman-806 appear to represent the same person because: Appear to be exact duplicates, with a second profile created in error. They have the same names, were born the same date, married women with the same names who have the same DOB, have sons with the same names, and died on the same date in the same place.
