Orators William Worsham, Henry Worsham and Thomas Worsham by John Gooch his trustee and your orators Betty Branch Robertson and Lucy? are the brothers and sisters of a certain John Worsham late of this county who before his death executed and published in due form his last will and testament bearing the date the 19th day of October 1779: After paying his debts and directing one thousand pounds paper currency which he bequeathed to you oratrix Lucy Worsham devised the residue of his Estate to your Orators & Oratrixes subject to an equal division between them, and appointed Joseph Royall and William Royall his executors thereto. And the said William Royall at a court held for Amelia County the 24th day of February 1780 produced the said will and was proved by the oaths of two of the subscribing witnesses admitted to record and probate thereof was granted to the said William Royall who with Joseph Royall the other Executor therein named and Daniel Hardway his securities entered into bond…..

p4, the will of John Worsham: sister Lucy Worsham, 1000 pounds, William Worsham, Thomas Worsham, Betty Branch Worsham and Lucy Worsham. Appoints loving Friends Joseph Royall and William Royall as Executors. Recorded 24 Feb 1780.

p 6, .. that Betty Branch, one of the plaintiffs, was at the time ^of the institution of this suit^ of the exhibition of the said bill, and for two years previous thereto, & is now, the wife of John Robertson…(same)…Lucy one of the plaintiffs was, and is now the wife of John Scott.

p 10, … William Royall, John Royall, executors of Joseph Royall decd and John Royall, Richard Royall, Joseph A Royall, William Royall, James T Royall children of the said Joseph Royall deceased and Daniel Hardaway to appear….

The cemetery was referred to as "square" because of its dimensions which were approximately 32' x 32'.

It is located @ Capt. William Worsham's Home @ Worsham, Prince Edward Co., VA. Worsham was the county seat from 1754 to 1872 until it was moved to Farmville.
