Biography

Hannah Wathen was born on 21 April 1663 (21: 2m: 1663) in Salisbury, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, the daughter of Ezekiel and Hannah Wathen.[1]

She married Samuel Fowler in Salisbury on 05 December 1684.[2]

Hannah Fowler was mentioned in her father's will dated, 05 May 1715 and proved 06 August 1716, "... unto my Daughters Hannah Fowler Dorothy Hoyt Judith Paige & Deborah Wells" £5 each, within one year.[3]

Her mother died while apparently living with them in Salisbury:

"WORTHEN, wid., at her son Sam[ue]ll Fowler's, June 29, 1730."[4]

Hannah's date of death is uncertain. She was last known to be living on 29 December 1727 when Samuel Fowler made provisions for her in his will. The will was proved on 02 January 1737, but since his son was named as executor Hannah is not mentioned. Her name is not given in the inventory of his estate either.[5]
