The above slaves were given to William upon his marriage to Louisa, by her parents. As stated in his will of 1942. (A rough guess as Louisa was pregnant with their first child at the time of the will. Have found no dates/place of marriage yet. These particular people were also referenced in his will in the same paragraph as being given when William and Louisa were married. A bit of assumption going here. If marriage date found will change)
