W.R. Wortley. 81, Expires at Victory
William R Wortley, 81, passed away Wednesday night from the George Smith home in Victory where he and Mrs. Wortley had resided the past year. He had been ill for a week.
Mr. Wortley, who was left an orphan when five years of age, came from Lyon, Mich., to a farm in Victory 10 years ago, when he was married to Miss Harriett Shelden.
Besides the widow Mr. Wortley is survived by a son and daughter by a former marriage.
The body was taken to the Stephens mortuary in Scottville and will be removed to the Smith home this afternoon. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
