Research Notes
It is highly unlikely Elizabeth Wray was born in Warren County, Kentucky. The first permanent settlement in Kentucky was constructed by James Harrod in 1774 (6 years after Elizabeth's birth) at Fort Harrod which is the present day city of Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Warren County, Kentucky was not established until December, 1796.[1]
