If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

I see you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.

Start with what you know about your family and work backwards , one by one, while you hunt fo records and organize your findings using our Family Tree builder here ...........any questions, just ask ! But if you have been working on your family for over 4 years, I think you know (-:

My name is Marques Wright and I've been researching my family's history for about four or five years now. it's been an amazing journey finding records about your family that you had no idea about. Marques, I noticed you plan to or already uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to instructions on the step-by-step gedcom import at WikiTree , including screenshots that you might find helpful. You might also want to check out our gedom instructions

Please keep in mind that our vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Thank you for taking the time to go through your gedmatches.

TIP: if your ancestor was born over two hundred years ago, there's a very good chance she/he already has a profile on wikitree.
