Biography

James Wright was born on 24 April 1807 at New York.[1]

He married Susan Bliss, daughter of Clark Bliss and Abigail (Spooner) Bliss, on 16 Jan. 1831.[2]

He was a farmer when he and Susan appeared on the census of 23 Nov. 1850 at Girard Township, Erie, Pennsylvania.[3] He was a farmer when he and Susan appeared on the census of 7 June 1860 at Girard Township, Erie, Pennsylvania.[4] He was a farmer when he and Susan appeared on the census of 14 June 1870 at Girard Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania.[5]

James died on 23 Dec. 1885 probably at Girard Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania and was buried at Girard Cemetery, Girard, Erie County, Pennsylvania. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and a link to that of a son.[1]
