John was born August 16, 1823 in Street, Somerset, England to John Wright and Leah Edgar. He married his first wife, Betsy Ford Wright, on Feb 22,1846 in Bellevue, Ohio[1] and they had 11 children, Alfred Wright, Josephine Wright Nims Drury, Mary Eliza Wright Russell Langan, Betsy Emma Wright Swalley, Henry Hubert Wright, Susanna Wright, John Aubrey Wright, Hubert N Wright, Louisa Isabel Wright, and George Albert Wright. He married Frances Ellen Wright Wright (1856 - 1932) Mar 16,1888 in Toledo, Ohio[2] and they had one child Damaris Martha Wright Nye (1894 - 1987). He passed away February 6, 1908 inLyme, Huron County, Ohio, United States of America.[3] He is buried in Strongs Ridge Cemetery, Strongs Ridge, Huron County, Ohio, USA.[4]
