Lucy Wright died in 1847. She wrote her will 20 Feb 1845, and it was proven 12 Jul 1847.[2]

Slaves

Lucy Smith was a slaveholder and was given these slaves from her husband's estate:[4]

At her death in her will she speaks of her older slaves, Gilbert, Dinah, and Ben, and that the others should be distributed to family members by lottery.[2]
