Biography
Moses Wright
He married Elizabeth “Bettie” Prewit.
Together they became the parents of John Wright, Spencer Alonzo Wright, Willis W Wright, David W Wright, William Hamilton Wright, Dr. Joshua Wright, Sarah Frances (Wright) Wortman, Peter Alonzo Wright , and Mary Elizabeth (Wright) Williams.
Moses died on 23 Oct 1867 in Casar, Cleveland Co., North Carolina and was buried at Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in Casar. [1]
Moses died intestate and the document brought to court by his widow included a list of surviving children and where they lived. The disposition of his estate included lands, houses, and a mill.
