Walter E Wright was born in 8 Nov 1856 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, the fourth of seven children of George Wright and Ann Huntington.[1] His middle name may be Edwin, but that is definitely the middle name of his eldest sibling and I have not seen any evidence that gives his full name. Walter Wright was a railroad dispatcher. It is not known why he removed to North Carolina shortly before he died; perhaps it was felt the warmer weather would be better for his health, or it might have been work-related. He passed away in Waynesville NC in 1901 of pernicious anemia.[2]
