Biography

Lilian was born before 19 May 1881 when she was baptized at St May Bishophill Senior, in York. She was the daughter of Robert Wright and Isabel Cooper.^[1]

In 1891 Lilian and her parents and siblings were enumerated at 105 Runnery(?) Lane, St Mary Bishopgate Senior, York, Yorkshire, England.

Lilian married in York in 1907 to Granville Nottingham, who died in 1955 (with administration to their daughter). One known child, Dorothy May, born 23 May 1907. ^{[4][5] [6]}

In 1911 the family was enumerated together at 8(?) Longfield Terrace, York. Granville was 32 and a tax clerk, Lilian was 29, and Dorothy May, 3. They had been married for four years and had no other children.^[7]

At the time of Granville's death in 1955 his address was 9 Grosvenor Rd, Scarborough. At the time of her death, Lilian's address was 10 Kingsway, Harrowgate. She died 3 Jan 1961 at the General Hospital, Harrowgate and her daughter died in 1987.^[8]
