When Mary Ann Wright was born in 1820 in Indiana, her father, Jacob, was 21, and her mother, Sarah, was 24. She married Noah Lamb on November 18, 1841, in Carroll, Indiana. They had five children in 15 years. She died in 1881 in Hesper, Iowa, at the age of 61, and was buried in Winneshiek, Iowa.'
