When Isaac Wright was born on February 20, 1798, in Greene, Tennessee, his father, John, was 22 and his mother, Margaret, was 20. He married Elizabeth Beeson in 1839 in Ohio. They had two children during their marriage. He died on July 28, 1879, in Wayne, Indiana, having lived a long life of 81 years, and was buried in Richmond, Indiana.
