Research Notes
Several Ancestry family trees [7]
list Thomas's wife as Edith Mary Hawkins, daughter of Benjamin F. Hawkins.
The name Edith Hawkins matches the marriage certificate.
The name Mary matches the Daughters and Sons of the American Revolution records.
One unsourced Ancestry family tree lists Thomas's wife as Mary Mize, born in Bayern, Germany with unknown parents. Without sources, this does not appear to be a credible lead.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Thomas by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Thomas:
There appears to be some confusion concerning the father of Dorcas (Wright) Scott. Dorcas matches up to the information in Wright-14036 more accurately than the information here. The will of Wright-14036, who died in 1762, actually mentions his wife Mary and, among other children, his daughter Dorcas. I don't think this Wright is the actual father of Dorcas.
