Biography

Peter Wright was born in Halifax county, Virginia in 1754, the son of Richard R. Wright, Sr. And Ann Morgan. Peter fought in the Revolutionary War, as did his father. Peter married and had at least one child, Greenberry Wright. Peter inherited 20 shillings from his father’s estate when the will was probated on 8 February 1785 in Roan county, North Carolina. Peter died in October 1821 in Harrison county, Indiana. [1][2]
