Ruth Wright was born about 1674 in Massachusetts Bay Colony. She married Jonathan Butterfield, probably at Charlestown or Woburn, on the 20th of March, 1694 (Gregorian calendar).
Ruth Butterfield died on January 11, 1754, at West Cambridge (modern-day Arlington), Middlesex, Massachusetts.[1] She was a widow and died of old age when she was 80 years old.
