Biography

Clarinda is the daughter of "Wrightstown founder Hoel S. Wright" (see first source under "see also") and Aurelia née Cleveland Wright. Clarinda Hayward left Vermont with her family at the age of 12 to settle in Wisconsin. She served as the first schoolteacher in Wrightstown and married Robert Samuel Hayward of Ontario, Canada in 1842. Robert was a Minister in the Methodist Episcopal church. They had three children together. Clarinda passed away 19 August 1897 in Lyons, Walworth, Wisconsin, United States.
