Biography
Eleanor Wrottesley was the eldest daughter of Dorothy Sutton and her husband Richard Wrottesley. [1]
She married, firstly, Edmund Leversedge, of Frome Selwood, Somerset, [1]
She married secondly Sir Henry Long, of Wraxall and Draycot, Wiltshire, son of sir Thomas Longe and Margery Darrell.a distinguished soldier of the reign of Henry VII, and one of the Knights of the King's Household ; by him she had a numerous family, two of whom, Richard and Thomasine, are mentioned in the will of Richard Dudley, as his godchildren. Elinor, Lady Long, died in 1543[1]
