John and Susanna (Peterson) Wyman had the following children, born at Livermore, Maine (then in Massachusetts), The first six are listed in the vital records of Livermore.[3] Sarah is known only from the inscription on her gravestone.[4] It is likely that there were other children; the vital records of Livermore have a gap in the list of births for many families starting in 1812.
John Wyman died on 10 Apr 1863, and he is buried at the Shuy Yard Cemetery in Livermore Falls, Maine, where his gravestone shows his age at his death as 84 years, 4 months, 18 days.[4]
