Drusilla, or Drucilla as it is sometimes spelled, was born about Jan 1795, possibly in Maryland, as is indicated by census records.[1] Her surname is unproven.
Speculative Maiden Name:
Some researchers believe her maiden name to be Wysor. However, no sources have been provided to support this information.
Some have suggested that she is the daughter of George Wysor and his wife Mary Luckleiter. However, census records reveal that she was born in Maryland. George Wysor served in the Revolutionary War from Frederick, Virginia, and remained a resident of that state well after the war. He is identified as a son in his father's 1797 will, which was proved 1804 in Montgomery, Virginia. This makes it unlikely that she is their daughter.
Marriage & Children:
Drusilla married Jacob Anderson Jr about 1815, most likely in Virginia. Her husband served in the Virginia Militia during the War of 1812. Drusilla is on record for receiving benefits for her husband's service.

Drusilla Anderson died 1 Sep 1868 in Pope County, Illinois, and is buried in Ragsdale Cemetery.[1]
