Biography
Sophia Alexander was born in Somerset County on 26 Feb 1680, the daughter of Jane McKnitt/MacKnitt/Mcknight and Joseph Alexander.
Sophia married Elias Alexander about 1705 in Cecil County, Maryland. Elias was Sophia's first cousin, the son of her father's brother, Andrew Alexander.
Sophia died after 13 Dec 1726, at Slate Hill, Cecil County, Maryland (now Lancaster County, Pennsylvania).
