Biography
Telitha Yarborough was born about 1826, in North Carolina, a daughter of Elisha Yarborough and Sarah Unknown. [1] On January 10, 1844, in Haywood county, North Carolina, "Tillitha Yarborow" married John Darnal [Darnell] [2] Telitha and John became the parents of a son:
- James Greenberry Darnell, born October 1, 1848, in Haywood county, North Carolina, died 1916, in Spring Creek, Madison county, North Carolina, married Martha Lucinda Davis. [3]
John Darnell died circa 1849 and Telitha married, secondly, Mitchell Moore, born 1823, in North Carolina. Telitha and Mitchell are found on the United States census of 1860, living in Haywood county, North Carolina. [4]
On this census, James Greensberry Darnell is listed as James G. Moore. Other children on the census are:
