Alfred was born in 1879. He was the son of Alfred Cooke-Yarborough and Mary Ferguson.
Alfred married Charlotte Elsie Jarvie (daughter of Harriet and Robert Jarvie) in 1911.
They appear to have had no children.
Alfred was recorded on the World War 1 Army Reserve Rolls, a Farmer of Paponga in the Hokianga.
In 1955 he was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire.
His wife died in 1968.
He passed away in 1969.[1]
