I am an amateur genealogist who enjoys trying to trace my family tree. I am a retired biological scientist so having valid data is very important to me. I would like to both improved the quality of the data in my family tree as well as contribute to the general genealogical community.

I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'.
