Biography

Many geneologists claim that Joseph was son of William Yates, Jr and Mary Wimberly. The family researchers that Jim Yates follows believe that Joseph was son of Peter Yates and Susannah Barber. His researchers were persuaded by North Carolina Yates researchers that claim that William Jr and Mary Wimberly never left North Carolina.
