Biography
Rose Yeo was one of twin daughters born to Robert Yeo, a shoemaker of Stratton, Cornwall, England and his wife Rose Cory. This child Rose and her sister Grace were baptised on 19 February 1698/9 at Stratton. An elder child named Rose (the first born to this couple) had died at the age of 5 months the previous year. [1]

I have a Rose Yeo marrying George Gimlet in Holsworthy (not a million miles away from Stratton) in 1741. I have been unable to find where they have originated from. Could this be your Rose?
