Lettie married Eugene Scott Watkins on 12/15/1907 in Hackleburg, Marion Cty, AL at her parents home. Witnesses were Scott's father, William Roland Watkins, Levi cochran, and Ethel Watkins. The preacher was Bro Bill Fredric. Information supplied by Michelle Wiseman.
Lettie was born in 1890. Lettie Yielding ... She was known to all as Mama Watkins. She passed away in 1973. Lettie is Buried in West Heights Cemetery, Pontotoc, Mississippi. [1]

1900 census for Marion Cty, AL precinct #10 Howell taken on 6/05/1900. Lettie was 9 at that time and her brother, Roscoe was 2. Parents were 40 and 38 and had been married for 18 years.
