Biography

Ruth York, born 14 May 1748 at Stonington, Connecticut, was the first child of Ruth Main & Bell York.

She married 22 Oct 1767 at Stonington, New London County, Connecticut, Simeon Brown. They had 7 children as profiled herein.

This family migrated to the woodland wilderness of eastern central New York State, and settled at the new village of Brookfield.

Ruth (York) Brown died 20 Feb 1820 at Brookfield.
