Their data has been conflated in most places. Both FAG Memorials list the DOB as 3 Dec 1755 and DOD as 2 May 1816 for both.
I also removed the middle name Rachel from this Sarah in a further attempt to disambiguate the two.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Sarah by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.

I had not worked on the Welborn branch for a long time but recently resumed and discovered a situation that was impossible to explain until I discovered there were TWO women name Sarah Rachel York....with one of them being the spouse of Col. John Welborn Sr and the other being the spouse of Peter Kivett II. I've made an attempt to begin correcting the data on these profiles to assign children and spouses to the proper family. Please be patient and allow this work to be done. James Welborn Sr is my 5th g-grandfather and he is a brother to Col. John Welborn. The WELBORN family is a real challenge to get the info correct but with diligence and further research, it CAN BE DONE!
