Phoebe Miriam Young was born about 1851. She was baptised 31st August, 1851, at Rottingdean, Sussex, the daughter of George Young, Labourer of Rottingdean, and his wife, Mary. [1]
Marriage. On 10th October, 1874, Phoebe was 23 when she married Joseph Edwards, a 28-year-old Carpenter, at St Peter's Church in the Parish of Brighton, Sussex, by License. Their respective fathers were recorded as Henry Edwards, Builder, and George Young, 'Potatoe' Merchant. The Established Church cermeony was performed before witnesses Thomas Edwards and Susanna [Garrod?][2]
Death. She passed away about 1945. [3]

DNA AncestryDNA thrulines (TM) suggests Phoebe's parents are George Young and Mary Patching with a descendant (via Norah Edwards) of hers sharing 8cM | 1 segment with the mother of Christine with their mutual ancestors being Edward Jeffery and Lydia Hickmott, Christine's 4th great-grandparents.
