Biography
Robert Stephen Young I was born about 1710 in Halifax, North Carolina to parents Richard Young and Anne Carver. He married Mary Taylor about 1735 in Nash, North Carolina. Children: Elizabeth, Richard, Robert Stephen II, Bennett, Kearney, William, Wiley, Priscilla Taylor, Grover C. He died in the summer of 1781 in Edgecombe, North Carolina. His will was probated in 1781 in Nash, North Carolina.
