Elizabeth Young was the daughter of Henry and Sarah (Snow?) Young of Eastham, Massachusetts. She married Benjamin Phinney November 5, 1747 at Barnstable, Massachusetts. She was probably the widow of Zephon Ames of Provincetown. On 21 November 1747, Benjamin Phinney, yeoman, wife Elizabeth, and Thomas Ames all of Barnstable, sold their interest in lands of "our deceased father and grandfather Henry Young of Eastham." Elizabeth died after March 24, 1758 when she was named in her husband's will.[1]
Elizabeth and Benjamin did not have any children together, though Benjamin had seven children by his first wife.[1]
