JEWEL CARNEY

Jewel Carney, 88, of Houston, Texas, died Saturday, June 27, 1998, at Columbia Bay Shore Hospital, of heart failure.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home in Ellisville, with burial in Ellisville Cemetery.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Ellisville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Carney; one daughter, Eloise Sessum; and great-great-grandson, Bret Sessum.

She is survived by one sister, Helen Pierce of Ellisville; grandchildren, Robert Sessum and wife Diann Sessum of Webster, Texas, and Ann Lee and husband, Kenneth Lee of Bryan, Texas; great-grandchildren, Ryan Sessum, Jared Sessum and Justin Sessum, April Lee and Kenny Lee II; great-grandson, Austin Lee; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home in Ellisville, which is in charge of arrangements.^[6]
