Sophia Young was born in 1836 in Hantsport, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Canada. Her parents are Thomas and Maria Young.
She married first Thomas Young about 1855. There are nine children listed for them in the Census records.He died about 1875.
She married second Stanley Card, a bachelor, on 27 July 1876 in Burlington, Hants County, Nova Scotia.[1] He outlived her.
She passed away on the 29 December 1917 at Centre Burlington, after falling on the ice. She is buried there in the Centre Burlington Cemetery.[2]
