His sister Margaret passed away in 1560, leaving a will as of Margareta Collyne, widow of Chawreye, Essex. she was the second wife of Nicholas Collin of Beauchamp Roding, Essex. The will makes it clear that her maiden name was Yonge and that she was the sister of Thomas Yonge of Roxwell, Essex, whom she names in the will, leaving bequests to each of his children. [1]

To be buried in the chapel next the corpse of my late husband Nicholas.

To my daughter Johan Collyn, now the wife of Edmund West Esq all my lands and tenements as well as my crop of wheat
If Johan be deceased then same to Thomas Yonge, Robert Yonge, William Yonge, Richard Yonge, Edmund Yonge, and Nicholas Yonge my brothers children. And they to pay to their sisters Jane and Denys £40
My tenement in High Easter called Hills to the Richard Barnard and his son Richard Barnard, William Sowell and Henry Cavell if they gave to the almshouses in High Easter from the yearly profits thereof. And if they do not revion to my son in law Edmund West.
To each of the children of my brother Thomas Yonge, late of Roxwell, Essex at age 21 years.
To her servant John Overall , 40s
a quarter of barley each to godson John Stephan , to Johan Clerke , Margaret Steven , and Cicle John at their marriages
