His sister Margaret passed away in 1560, leaving a will as of Margareta Collyne, widow of Chawreye, Essex. she was the second wife of Nicholas Collin of Beauchamp Roding, Essex. The will makes it clear that her maiden name was Yonge and that she was the sister of Thomas Yonge of Roxwell, Essex, whom she names in the will, leaving bequests to each of his children. [1]

    • a quarter of barley each to godson John Stephan , to Johan Clerke , Margaret Steven , and Cicle John at their marriages
    • To the children of Richard Barnard , the children of William Collyn and of Henry Collyn , the children of John Speller and the children of John Meade of Amberden Hall 20s.
    • 4d each to her married godchildren were given 4d, and those who were unmarried were given 12d.
    • To Leonard Norrys a quarter of barley.
    • The residue of her goods to daughter Johan, who was executrix, with Edmund West and Robert Hurst, , Edmund being given 40s.
    • Richard Barnard , gent was overseer
    • James Lam, priest , Robert Morley , and John Downar were witnesses. "
