Peter was living at Morris County, New Jersey on 6 Oct 1792 when he signed a petition to the Legislature asking for repeal of a law to dig canals along the Passaic River and its branches near the Little Falls.[3]
Peter was living at Morris County, New Jersey and was recorded on the 1795 Tax List for Hanover Township.[4]

One 12 August 1809, the heirs of Peter Young decd. late of Amwell Twp., Hunterdon County came together and consolidated their inherited land in the possession of two of Peter's sons.[6] The grantees were
