Biography
It is said that Thomas Solomon Young, told his oldest son that while Thomas Solomon is his rightful name. Every thing He ever signed, even court documents were signed "Bates" Young. The State of Tennessee does recognize Thomas Solomon, and Bates Young to be the same person.
