Alice was the daughter of Thomas Young. She was born before 1478.
The Visitation of Somerset names Alice, heir of Thomas Younge of Bristol as the wife of William Malet. [1]
She was also named as his daughter, and as the wife of William Malet in an Inquisition Post Mortem held after her father's death in 1506. [2] Alice was aged 28 and above at the time of the IPM which would make her birthdate no later than 1478.
Alice died on an unknown date. Arthur Malet, in "Notices of an English Branch of the Malet Family", says that she died in 1505, but the Inquest Post Mortem says that she made a a will in 1513, and the inquest was likely held shortly after her death, so the 1505 date seems to be much too early.
