Biography

Louise "Yz" Young was born in 1874 in Birch Run Township, Saginaw County, Michigan, and was with her parents in Taymouth Township in 1880. In 1890 she married Fred J. Blaine in Gilford, Tuscola County. Their first child was born in 1893 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1899 they were at Reese, Tuscola County, Michigan. They farmed in Swan Creek Township, Saginaw County, at least 1910-1930. In 1940 they were at Sterling in Arenac County. They had four children (see husband's entry). Louise died at Bay City in 1940 and was buried in Sterling Cemetery.
