Notes

Initial entry information: Remarried after death of Wm Henry to Francis William Little and was therefore known to her grandchildren as "Grandma Little". Her second husband is also in the Byrd family plot. She ran a stitchery shop for a time in later years. She died about two weeks before her 65th birthday of acute coronary artery thrombosis after several years of hypertension and arteriosclerosis. From Obituaries: Died of heart affliction after being bedfast for 4 days. Married at Lathrop, Ca. and immediately moved to Visalia, Ca. Remarried 2 years after William Byrd's death to Francis William Little (remarried 1912). Presbyterian church member and member of the Order of the Eastern Star. For 28 years, ran an arts good's business at the Palace Hotel annex on North Court Street.

In 1910 Mr. Byrd died and the widow several years later was married to Francis William Little. The latter died in Visalia in October of last year. For 28 years the deceased conducted an art goods business in the same location in the Palace Hotel annex on North Court Street. During these years she created a large circle of friends who learned to appreciate her fine traits of character. Mrs.Little was a member of the Presbyterian church and the Order of Eastern Star. She was very active in church work and belonged to many auxilary church organizations.
