Jonathan Young (KIA). Young served in the military from 1 August 1775 to 14 January 1776 as a private in Capt. Curtis' Company. Young lived in Topsham, ME in 1776. Jonathan enlisted at Ticonderoga under Captain Lane in December 1776. He served in the 6th Massachusetts Regiment from 1 January 1777 to 30 May 1778. Young died on 30 May 1778 in the Battle with the Iroquois at Cobleskill NY.
