Mary was born in 1840. She was the daughter of William Young and Mary Smith, William's first wife. Mary passed away in 1931.
Research Notes
The 1860 Census shows Hannah Young, not Mary, but they were both born 1839-1840 ... same person? Or could this be William's new wife, Amanda, and there was either a transcription error or a census taker's error.
