Biography
Mary Young was born about 1780 In February 1800 she married the widower Thomas Crossland, a calico printer, Their marriage certificate shows that they could both sign well, and was witnessed by Nancy Jones and Thomas Hope.[1]
They had a child whom they named Thomas Young Crossland in November 1800. [2].
A daughter Elizabeth was christened in November 1801.[3]
