Gerald, please check for duplicates before creating profiles. You will see merge proposals for the duplicate Dygart/Dygerts you've already created; please approve asap so they can be cleaned up.
Congratulations, you've been a WikiTree member for a month! We're glad you're here. A few tips to help you dive in even deeper:
Check out Beyond the Basics of WikiTree for a guide on some of our more advanced features such as Projects, Categories, and Merging.
We're very active on our social sites and we have an excellent blog where you'll find our monthly newsletter as well as tips, interviews with our members and guest posts from others in the genealogy community.
As always, I'm here to help if you have any questions!
Thanks for volunteering! You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. We are building one collaborative tree with just one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add profiles to WikiTree. If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add, please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.
If you need any help, check out the Help section from the menu at top right, or visit the G2G forum and take a moment to introduce yourself in the Tree House. You might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.
My name is Gerald Nelles Young, and my parents were descendent of United Empire Loyalists and settled on lands along the grand river given to them by General Brant. My name appears in a internet file titled "Frederick Young" David Faux" along with a interview that David Faux had with my Grandfather, Harry Young' in 1965 which was just 3 weeks he and my grandmother had attended my wedding in Sarnia, Ontario.
Grandpa and I spent a lot of time searching out the "Young" family tree up until his death in 1979. He would be so excited to all this history available to us all on the internet.
Hopefully I will be able to spend some time reviewing all the information that is available on your site.
Gerald
The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site youve ever used.
WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!
What brings you to WikiTree? Research youd like to share? Interested in how your family fits into the big tree?
When you confirm your email address, youll see a Volunteer option on your profile page. Click that and leave us a short message about your genealogical interests. A Greeters Project volunteer will be happy to confirm your membership, and youll be on your way!
Guy
Thanks for your message. First, any living person is automatically set as private. (Red padlock).
For exemple of tree prints, as my tree is visible, you can use my own tree to make tests in different views.
For the other question, I will respond later with a PM.
Guy
Thank you for signing the Honor code. Collaboration, accurate information and good sources are the basis for a great WikiTree.
By signing the Honor Code you're telling the Wiki community you are a responsible Wiki genealogist.
Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.
Have a nice journey on Wikitree,
Guy - Wikitree Mentor / Leader

Just checking in with a few quick tips:
Looking to make more connections or find more information about an ancestor but not sure how to do that? Try categorizing your profiles.
Not sure what to put into a biography? Here are some Bio Ideas. Also, make sure that the biographies match WikiTrees Styles and Standards.
If you come across an unresponsive manager, we have a process for those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, please ask!!

We have mentors to help, too.
