George was born about 1800. George was the child of George Young and Elizabeth Patrick.
George passed away about 1856 leaving a will. His will was dated 1840 but not proved until 1857.
George Midford Young, a pawn broker and silversmith,' late of St Clement Danes but now of Princes Street, Leicester Square, left one hundred pounds to his brother in law 'William Aldous [Street] of Argyll Street in the parish of St James Westminster '( Street after the surname, seems to be an error by the clerk. William Aldous esquire is mentioned later in the text.) The residue of the estate was left to his wife Mary. William Aldous and Mary were executors and were granted administration on the 7th January, 1857 [1]
