Mary Polly YOUNG, (b. abt. 1807, d. 1884), married on 20 June 1827 in Whitley County, Kentucky to Augustus HILL (b. abt. 1806, d. between 1860 and 1870).

Mary "Polly" Ann HILL should have been enumerated within her husband's household in the 1840 census record and be about 30 to 33 years of age at the time of the census record. I have not been able to locate this household in the 1840 Census Record of Whitley County, Kentucky.
Listed as Polly HILL, Age 40 Years and Born in Kentucky in the 1850 Census Record of District 2, Whitley County, Kentucky in the household headed by Gustas HILL.[4]
Listed as Mary HILL, age 53 Years and born in Tennessee in the 1860 Census Record of Poplar Creek (post office), Whitley Generally, Whitley County, Kentucky in the household headed by Augustus HILL.[5]
Listed as Polly HILL, Age 60 Years and born in Kentucky in the household of John A. KEW (age 22), with July A. KEW (age 22 Years also in his household. This was probably Julia HILL seen in the 1850 census as 3 years of age and seen as 12 years in the 1860 census under July A. HILL. Polly's husband Augustus was not present in this household.[6]
